The standard Bionx system includes an easy-to-read control console (below), a battery and a wheel/motor. The BionX system can be installed on most bicycles by replacing the rear wheel with the BionX motor-wheel. The BionX system can be retrofitted on just about any bicycle type: road, mountain, tandem, recumbent and folding.

Command Console

Mounted on your bicycle's handlebars, the Bionx console is equipped with a two-mode microprocessor that provides both assistance and generation modes. Other features include a multifunction odometer, battery gauge and even a programmable alarm that goes off when the bike is moved.

 

Lightweight design that also provides Assistance.

Bionx is ideal for riders that want to ride longer and keep up with the pack or those that want help up hills and against the wind. Four assistance levels amplify the cyclists effort by 25%, 50%, 100% or 300%, allowing the cyclist to ride faster while giving the same effort (or ride at the same speed with less effort). Each assistance level is proportional to the rider’s effort.
